Itinerary
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading south toward Amboseli National Park. After a scenic 4–5 hour drive, you’ll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, set off on an evening game drive in the park. Amboseli is famous for large elephant herds and the best game viewing destination. Spot buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even lions or cheetahs roaming the open plains. The view of Mount Kilimanjaro, especially at sunset, is one of the most breathtaking sights in Africa. Return to the lodge for diner and overnight relaxation
After an early breakfast, you'll explore Amboseli with a full-day game drive or split it into morning and evening sessions. The park is a paradise for wildlife lovers, featuring a variety of species such as hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, and numerous bird species like flamingos and raptors. The vast marshlands provide ample opportunity to witness animals congregating, offering extraordinary photographic moments. Picnic lunch will be taken in the park. After an exciting day, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner, unwinding with the distant silhouette of Kilimanjaro.
Check out from the lodge after breakfast. Journey north toward Lake Nakuru National Park, a drive of about 5–6 hours. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is world-famous for its flamingos, painting the shores pink when in season. The park is also a sanctuary for rhinos, offering a rare close-up encounter with these magnificent creatures. Keep an eye out for leopards, often spotted lounging on tree branches, as well as waterbucks, impalas, and baboons near the lakeshore. In the evening return to the lodge for diner and overnight relaxation.
After breakfast and assisted check out, you’ll continue your journey to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve (approx. 4-5hours drive). Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and savor lunch before heading out for an evening game drive. Maasai Mara is Kenya’s most celebrated safari destination, home to the Big Five—lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. You’ll also see hyenas, hippos, giraffes, and countless antelope species, all roaming across the vast plains. As the sun sets, witness the golden hues transforming the landscape, making for an unforgettable evening. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara, immersing yourself in the heart of the African wilderness. If traveling between July and October, you might witness the world-famous Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River, dodging crocodiles and predators in an awe-inspiring survival spectacle. Throughout the day, you'll also spot a variety of wildlife species. Lunch will be taken at a picnic site inside the park. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight relaxation. For a cultural touch, an optional visit to a Maasai village offers insights into their traditions and way of life.
Check out from the lodge after breakfast and depart Maasai Mara for Nairobi. The journey takes about 5–6 hours, with scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your safari.
